Less Than Truck Load (LTL)

Crate Pros offers extensive Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipping services to anywhere in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.  Based on our high volume of shipments, our excellent record of packaging our freight, and our more than twelve top-tier carriers, we are able to provide our customers industry leading pricing and dependable service on every shipment.

LTL shipping, also called freight shipping, is for items too large for traditional parcel shipments.  While not required, we almost always package our freight on a pallet, in a crate, or in some way that can be easily be handled by a forklift.  When booking your shipment, our team not only takes into consideration pricing from our carriers but also days in transit and the number of times it will be transferred and handled.

Base rates for LTL shipping are based on dimensions, weight, distance and commodity (NMFC Code and Freight Class).  Accessorials such as the need for a liftgate at pick-up or delivery, delivery to a residence, and inside deliveries all affect your pricing as well.

Whether you need a quote for a pre-packed pallet of freight or you have items that require specialty packaging prior to shipping, Crate Pros has an LTL Shipping solution to meet your needs and to exceed your shipping expectations.  Call or text us today for your free quote.

Project Spotlight

Pre-Boxed Freight Return Shipment to Manufacturer

Crate Pros often packs and ships very fragile and delicate antiques, electronics, and artwork, but we also partner with companies and individuals to ship more general freight. In this project shown, we helped a local soccer club with returning unneeded equipment back to the equipment manufacturer in California. We picked up the boxes, palletized them, wrapped them with stretch film, and banded them for extra security.
