On-Site Crating & Specialty Packaging

If the size or sensitivity of your project requires work to be performed at your site, our team can perform your custom packaging, on-site crating, and freight loading at your location. In most cases we will pre-build and transport disassembled crates to your location for the loading, specialty packing, and crating of freight. Your time is important, so our on-site projects will be coordinated and planned with your team in advance to ensure our time at your facility provides minimal disruption to your operations.

14-Foot Custom Wood Inlaid Conference Table – Packing, Crating, Shipping

Crate Pros was honored to be selected to handle all aspects of the logistics for delivering this gorgeous one-piece custom conference table to the second floor of an office building in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The project included picking up the table in Nashville, professionally packing/crating the table, shipping it, and ultimately unpacking, delivering, and setting up the table. In order to best protect the tabletop, it was carefully packed in a picture crate with A-Frame that allowed it to ship on-edge, preventing any possible damage as it was being shipped via less than truckload (LTL) shipping. Polyethylene foam was used as padding on all sides to serve as cushioning and shock protection while in transit. The crate was designed in a way to protect the valuable tabletop but also provide easy access and unpacking once received at the destination.
