Crating of a Live Saving Medical Device for Vanderbilt Medical

Crate Pros recently had the honor of performing a complex delivery of a $2M life-saving IntraOp Mobetron system to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. This 4K lb. mobile, self-shielded electron-beam linear accelerator (LINAC) machine is designed to deliver Intraoperative Radiation Therapy to cancer patients during surgery. To ensure the safety of the machine during its travel several braces were used.
